Stick Welding Gloves are protective gloves specifically designed for manual welding. Such welding operations generate a large amount of high-temperature sparks, slag splashes, and extremely high welding temperatures, thus requiring high standards for the gloves' heat insulation, anti-spark, and wear resistance. Stick Welding Gloves possess the characteristics of being wear-resistant, heat-resistant, puncture-resistant, and cut-resistant. They can actually be used in other scenarios in our daily lives, such as adding charcoal during outdoor barbecues or campfires, adjusting the position of the barbecue grill; taking and placing baking trays from the oven; transporting metal parts that have just cooled down; transporting rough-surfaced or items with sharp edges like steel pipes, steel plates, and stones; trimming some prickly plants or cleaning gravel, discarded metal components, and so on.
The outer layer of Stick Welding Gloves is mostly made of thickened full-grain cowhide or wear-resistant double-layer leather. These two types of leather are thick and strong, capable of directly resisting the impact and burning of high-temperature slag. The inner layer is equipped with a thick cotton lining or a flame-retardant and heat-insulating lining, further preventing heat conduction and avoiding hand burns.

How to choose the suitable Stick Welding Gloves for yourself?
When choosing the right welding gloves for yourself, the key factors to consider are the welding conditions, operational requirements, and the duration of the work.
For short-term, intermittent welding, such as a total welding duration of no more than 2 hours in a day, you can choose thinner gloves (with a thickness of 0.8-1.2mm).
For long-term, continuous welding, such as welding for more than 4 hours a day even with medium current (160-250A), it is recommended to choose a thicker model. The inner layer should be lined with heat insulation cotton. If the heat accumulates for a long time through thin gloves, it can cause skin burns. The thicker gloves have better heat insulation properties and can better withstand continuous heat.
