When is a plasma cutter used in the welding field?

1. Suitable for metal sheets/pipes such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy, LGK-30 is compatible with carbon steel <12mm. It is used when fast cutting of target shapes is required, and the cut precision is higher than that of oxyacetylene cutting.

2. Weld joint preparation: Used for cutting grooves (e.g., V-groove, I-groove) to improve weld penetration.

3. Cutting of special materials/working conditions, plasma cutting has a narrow heat-affected zone and less deformation.

4. Post-welding trimming: removing weld reinforcement, cleaning welding defects, or trimming irregular edges of welded components.
