The core working principle of 40A DC Inverter Air Plasma Cutter is ionizing air to generate a high-temperature plasma arc, melting metal, and blowing away molten slag to complete cutting.
1.After the equipment is powered on, IGBT technology precisely controls the current and outputs high-voltage, high-frequency electricity to the torch.
2.The torch ejects compressed air, and the high-voltage electricity ionizes the air to form a plasma arc.
3.The plasma arc reaches temperatures exceeding 10, 000°C, instantly melting the metal at the cutting area of the work-piece.
4.Continuous compressed air blows away the molten metal slag, and a smooth kerf is formed as the torch moves.
Air serves three roles: ionization medium, cooling/protective gas, and slag-blowing gas, eliminating the need for additional special cutting gases.
