Working principle of DC Inverter TIG 140 Welding Machine

An electric arc is generated via high-frequency ignition or contact ignition. The arc between the tungsten electrode (non-consumable electrode) and the workpiece provides heat to melt the base metal. Meanwhile, inert gases such as argon or helium are continuously sprayed to isolate the air, protection the tungsten electrode, weld pool, and heat-affected zone from oxidation. Filler metal is added if necessary to fuse and form the weld seam.
